Larry Craig resurfaces at baseball game

Larry Craig inspired Bobblehead, er, bobblefoot. Here's some creative marketing for you. Baseball team the St. Paul Saints are having fun with Sen. Larry Craig's foot tapping incident at Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport by offering a bathroom-stall "bobblefoot" giveaway for the first 2,500 fans at Sunday's game at Midway Stadium against Fort Worth.

The "bobblefoot" features someone in a stall with a spring loaded foot that taps taps taps away. The team points out that "it doesn't matter if your tapping style is done with a 'wide stance' or is used as some sort of code."

The Saints claim the offer is in recognition of National Tap Dance Day.

For those of you who don't remember, Craig pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct last year for allegedly soliciting sex from an undercover police officer. The senator later tried, and failed, to get his plea overturned.

Craig did not have any comment regarding the baseball give-away, although we think it's only fair that he be entitled to a licensing fee.
