Falcon Studios has long been one of the best studio sites online, and now it's been completely re-designed and expanded. Inside there are almost 1400 streaming video scenes from over 300 DVDs released over the past 30 years under the Falcon, Jocks, Mustang, and Falcon International nameplates. There's now a complete mobile version that works flawlessly. But, as with many of the studio sites, the videos will stream only; there's no option to download -- and we experienced a lot of buffering pauses.

Tour

The tour for Falcon Studios unfolds as you scroll down the long homepage. Start off with the Flash preview of the latest release, and continue by clicking any of the thumbnails on the homepage or by browsing the "Updates," "Movie" and "Models" indexes. All of these will lead you to a one minute explicit trailer for every video on the site. It's an excellent mirror tour all round.

Navigation

You have numerous navigation options on Falcon Studios. Use the text links across the top of any page for broad indexes such as "Updates," "Movies," "Photos," or "Models". Or use the left sidebar for more specific searches such as by studio, by theme, or by model. And the advanced search feature is very cool: enter a theme - like leather, and then you can cross-reference it by two additional categories like Latino and butt play. It's a challenge to keep such a large inventory organized and accessible, but Falcon has done it.

The Men and the Action

Falcon's model roster reads like a who's who of gay porn. From Matthew Rush to Roman Heart, from Eric Rhodes to Dean Munroe, Arpad Miklos, Chad Hunt, Benjamin Bradley, Shane Rollins, Barrett Long, Brad Patton ... the list of horse-hung Falcon porn gods goes on and on and on.

Over the years, the beautifully filmed and lit Falcon movies, from raunchy classics like "The Other Side Of Aspen", to the sun-seared "Absolute Arid", to the latest Falcon fuck-fest have been shot in the snowy mountains, the Hollywood Hills, the burning desert, and on location all over the world. The scenes range from wild pre-condom epics to gorgeous HD contemporary classics. The model index provides you with important stats about your chosen stud, and cross-links you with his image galleries and the video scenes he appears in. There are good text descriptions for every scene, but there aren't any model interviews.

All of the videos shot during the last 12 months are in "HD" and look amazing. The older videos aren't quite as sharp and, of course, the very oldest, originally shot on film, are average quality. But buffering makes the experience less thrilling.

Take a look at some of the thousands of images on the site. Some are what's called "Glamour Shots". These are very large, crystal clear digital photos that accompany each model profile. Or you can check out what Falcon calls a "DVD Set". These are typically video capture images and accompany a DVD box cover from one of the Falcon lines, along with the Glamour Sets for the models appearing in the scenes. So, combine 1750 digital image galleries of models with video capture sets from over 300 DVDs and there's easily over 2000 image sets.

Summing Up

Whether you're new to the Falcon experience - or a devoted long-time fan, you're in for a horned-up thrill ride through over 30 years of some of the hottest models and best-loved titles in the history of gay porn. The new HD videos are a major improvement, and the latest Falcon releases are now available for members even before the DVDs go on sale. Plus the mobile version of the site works like a dream. The big issue, which we hope is resolved soon, is the very frustrating, boner-shrinking buffering.
