Turkish delights

Welcome to the wonderful world of wrestling, the national sport of Turkey. Dousing themselves in olive oil -- less fattening and much better for you -- men wrap themselves around their opponents slippery skin in hopes of securing a hold on the greased up pehlivan, or leather pants. The hold signifies control, and once established the game is over.

The annual Kırkpınar tournament, held in Edirne in Turkish Thrace since 1362, is the oldest continuously running, sanctioned sporting competition in the world. We can certainly see the attraction.

It would be even more interesting if they were naked! Could this become the international sport of gay men?
