Michael Lucas and his company have been given permission to continue marketing two films that were shot at a mansion in Ojai, Calif.
Kristina Knapic, the home's owner, rented the site to Lucas through AirBNB. She claimed that she had no idea the location would be used to shoot gay porn. She also said the crew
left behind a disgusting mess, which included used enemas. She wanted to stop Lucas from releasing the films until a constructive trust could be established so that she could collect some of the profits from the films.
In November, Knapic claimed that she had rented the mansion to a woman, who promised the $1,095-a-night home was being used “for a quick summer vacation.” Knapic also asserted that she had to clean the whole house with bleach before it could be used again.
She is seeking unspecified damages in the case.
The fight is not over. The home-owner is still hoping the court will find that she is entitled to a share of the proceeds from the two videos in order to help recoup the money she is out.
The hearing for the constructive trust is scheduled for Feb. 5.
The way it's going, both parties will be spending a lot more on lawyers than whatever Knapic paid to cleanse her mansion of porn shoot leavings.
