Two singers both drop videos in support of equal marriage

Two very talented singers have released new videos this week; both Sam Smith and Kelly Clarkson have decided to use their music to showcase their support for equal marriage.

For "Lay Me Down," Smith took to Facebook to explain his new video. He posted: "This song holds a very dear place in my heart. With this video myself and Ryan Hope the director have decided to make a statement and showcase something we passionately believe in. This video shows my dreams that one day gay men and women and transgendered men and women all over the world, like all our straight families and friends, will be able to get married under any roof, in any city, in any town, in any village, in any country."

Smith is nominated for multiple awards at this year's Grammys, airing Sunday evening.

And in her new video for "Heartbeat Song," Kelly Clarkson shows that everyone has a chance to find new love following a break-up. And the gay couple even gets married!
