Quentin Elias, dead at 39

Sad news for fans of Quentin Elias: yesterday, the singer - and former porn model - was found dead in his New York home. Early reports suggest he died of a massive heart attack. He was 39.

Elias first found fame as the lead singer of 90s French boy band Alliage. He went on to pursue music as a solo artist, as well as acting and some porn work. As a porn model, he worked under the name Q for Randy Blue (sadly only performing in solo videos).

"[W]hen I was in LA for my play Sunset Boulevard, I met Randy and was immediately hooked," he said in 2008. "He promised me that video and photos are made with taste and pros, so I trusted him. I always wanted to shock a bit and I can say that there is success!" 

In the past few years he had returned to music and was hoping to reestablish himself as a recording artist.
