Rod Daily: I'm HIV+

Rod Daily announced on Tuesday that he is HIV+.

He later tweeted: "My antibodies just showed up on a test this week which is scary because they didn't a week ago.," adding that he was "owning my shit right here like I have always owned my shit in life.

"I'm not down, I'm not out."

He did, however, confirm that he was retiring from the business.

Last week, information leaked that his girlfriend, Cameron Bay, was also HIV+, forcing several studios to suspend production while other actors were tested for the disease.

"We’ve been asked for a comment about the revelations from the @Rod_Daily Twitter account stating that the performer Rod Daily is HIV-positive," the Free Speech Coalition said. "It must be noted that while this does appear to be authentic, we do not have additional confirmation that these messages were in fact posted by Rod Daily himself.

The FSC suggested that anyone who has recently performed with Daily consider being tested.
