Did reality show stud spurn 'Bachelorette' because he's gay?

One of the male suitors on the current season of The Bachelorette - yep, it's still on TV - is being questioned for rebuffing Desiree Hartsock's advances last week. And when this picture (left) appeared on Twitter, rumors started swirling that maybe model Brooks Forester (pictured in the striped shirt) broke her heart because he's actually into men.

"If Brooks is gay, he not only pulled the biggest prank on one of the most popular network dating shows of all time, but he's also broken Desiree's heart," a Bachelorette insider said. "She's so in love with Brooks. And if the rumors are true, it would be too much for her to handle."

Desiree, however, is convinced he's straight.

"She says that if he were gay, she'd know," the insider said. "She has incredibly deep feelings for him."

Anyone who goes on a reality TV show looking for true love deserves whatever they get.
