Should Anthony Weiner quit the race for New York mayor?

This weiner just won't stop.

By now you've heard: a year after after he resigned from Congress in disgrace for texting sexually graphic images of himself, Anthony Weiner struck up another dalliance with another woman with whom he exchanged more graphic photos and sexually charged phone calls.

That might not be a problem, except that he is a married man  running for mayor of New York City.

With his wife at his side, Weiner told reporters on Tuesday that he had made mistakes and was asking for a second chance (really a third chance, but who's counting?)

I do wonder about Weiner's judgement. If he thought there was any chance that he would run for public office again, how could he allow himself to be drawn into exactly the same behavior a year after being forced to quit Congress?

It's not the sex affairs themselves that I have a problem with; if his wife, Huma Abedin, doesn't  mind why should anyone else? (Except she does mind. She forgives him, though, and they both say his mistakes are in the past.)  It's more about Weiner's lack of judgment, misreading what the fallout would be (personally and politically) if he were caught fooling around yet again.
