Why did you decide to do porn?

Porn is a natural extension of my creative productivity. It's a way for me to explore my sexuality, and at the same time express my philosophy about gay sex. And the experience of doing porn feeds back into my other artistic work.        

    

How did you come up with your porn name?  

My nickname for many years was Jett, so that came quite naturally, and “Black” was chosen with my Director Jake Jaxson. I come across quite innocent, but definitely have a darker sexual side to me – that’s why we chose “Black”. My porn name is purely used because my real name simply is a terrible porn name Haha. I am Jett when I am home and when I shoot. I don’t change between characters; Jett is not a part of a role I put on when I feel like it. I truly believe that sex should be felt, not simulated both on camera and in the bedroom, countering the notion of understanding that it  can be necessary for some adult actors to fake it once in a while.  

 

    

Has anything surprised you about the industry?  

Working with Cockyboys has been a big eye opener and has really changed my view on the adult industry. Our work is so organic and natural and the shoots are most often like one long flirt with your scene partner.  

    

It surprised me how big and open the industry is and how so many people are extremely passionate about  the adult work, and how a director like Jake Jaxson puts so much effort into production values and really thinks through every little detail in order to create a very caring and comfortable environment for us models. It results in different, artistic scenes for the viewers.  

 

    

What was your first scene like?

My first porn scene ever, even before my solo scene, was with the French‐Canadian wonderboy Arnaud Chagall and my mind was all over the place before the shoot: Can I stay hard, am I big enough, in good enough shape, how many camera angles, positions, etc., etc. Arnaud was an absolute gentleman and created this special bond with his charming shyness. From then all I thought of was how great a lover this boy was and the scene really was an organic, fun and passionate documentation of us making love.  

    

And how did you feel about it afterwards?  

Like you feel after having great sex with a beautiful guy for 4 hours. Arnaud stayed over after the shoot and we spent the night making food, talking and having fun. It was a great experience. 

 

Who do you really want to work with in the industry?  

Personality is a huge turn‐on for me, and the scenes I have enjoyed shooting the most have been with guys I have connected and communicated well with. I had the great pleasure of meeting Christian Wilde at the Phoenix Forum in April and both his body and mind really intrigue me.  

    

And if you could work with any celebrity who would it be and why?  

A scruffy Aaron Taylor­‐Johnson! He's not a boy, not yet a man whom I find very interesting and his way of portraying emotions with those cold steel­‐blue eyes could make me do absolutely anything he would like me to! If you have seen him as Vronsky in the movie Anna Karenina I know you follow what I’m saying!  

 

    

Is there anything that fans would be surprised to learn about you?  

1. I have lived in 4 different countries the past 5 years.  

2. I have a thing for men with body hair in speedos.

3. I was born and raised in Europe.

   

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?  

My hair! Hmmm, no, I think I would change the way I sometimes see myself as a performer. I am my own worst critic, and can be very hard on myself. I am not a perfectionist, but I like to watch my scenes in order to continue to learn and develop.  

    

Where do you hope to be in five years?  

I hope to be somewhere where I am still happy with who I am, have space and capacity to continue developing and learning, and have the possibility to help and support others in some way.
