Prison time for former porn star Tag Adams

While everyone else is getting ready for the holidays, former porn star Tag Adams will be preparing for a few years behind bars. Adams, who appeared in over 50 porn films until he retired from the biz in 2009,  was convicted in October by a federal court on sex and drug charges involving a minor.

Adams, born Kelly Kreitz, argued the whole thing was a set-up. He claimed he was tricked into hooking up with a man he met online who would also have a 'friend' with him. Said friend was younger. Much younger. Eventually Adams agreed to the meeting, took some drugs and headed out for the night.

"I was still feeling so high and friendly, I gave the driver a $10 tip and made the worst mistake of my life. I stepped out of the taxi at the address given and walked up the steps to meet JP, who said he would be waiting for me on the steps to his building. I looked up at him with my Prada boots on, with my True Religion jeans and shirt on, with my G-Star cap on while I was toting my Prada trick bag over my Swiss Army jacket. I was working it! We shook hands as he said, 'Come on in, he is upstairs!'

"Fuck! I was spun around, my cap, bag and jacket taken off while I was cuffed and six people were going through my bag and all of pockets."

Adams later pled guilty to the charges after failing to make a deal with authorities.

As per the FBI's website: "According to the government’s evidence, on April 8, 2010, Kreitz contacted an undercover officer with the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force, who had entered a social network site. Kreitz engaged in online e-mail, instant message, text message, and telephone conversations with the undercover officer, whom he believed had access to an underaged boy who resided in Virginia. During the conversation, Kreitz arranged with the undercover officer to meet for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts with the child.

"On April 9, 2010, the defendant arrived at a pre-arranged meeting place in Washington, D.C. When he arrived at the meeting place, he was arrested. At the time of his arrest, Kreitz was found to be in possession of a substance later determined to be methamphetamine."

He has been sentenced to 8 years in prison.
