The Game is tired of rappers on the down-low

Game - hip hop artist and rapperThe world of hip hop has never been considered very gay-friendly, so it comes as little surprise that openly gay rappers are as rare as unicorns.

The artist known as The Game - whose fourth album reached number one last week - thinks this should change. He says openly gay people are fine, but he hates players on the down-low.

“I think there are several rappers that are in the closet and gay," he said. "They are the only type of gay people that I have a problem with. I don’t have a problem with gay people. Gay people are everywhere and rightfully so, it’s a free country.

“Game has no problem with gay people, Game has a problem with people who are pretending not to be gay. The number one issue with that is that you can be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die. So that in the closet shit is real scary.

“We got to get into the seriousness of it. If you’re gay just say you’re gay, so be cool and be proud.”

The Game himself is not gay ... except in our wet dreams, where he's all about man-on-man sex (and, oddly enough, likes cuddling while watching HGTV)!
