Brody Jenner looking for bromance

Famous for no reason, Brody Jenner will once again grace TV screens across the nation in the latest reality show construct: the search for a new best friend. And the only thing that makes the show remotely interesting is the promise of a "Hot Tub Elimination Ceremony."

The new MTV show, "Bromance," will have regular joes competing to be part of Brody's entourage. Challenges will include dealing with the paparazzi and sky diving, with men vying for attention during "group dates" and "alone time" with Brody.

"Bromance takes a successful TV format and turns it on its head," MTV Senior VP Series Development Liz Gateley said in a statement. "Brody is the perfect fit for this concept; he is the type of guy everyone wants to hang out with."

Brody isn't new to the reality TV racket. He appeared in uber-fake "The Hills" with then best friend Spencer Pratt, and starred in the equally unrealistic "Princes of Malibu" as a lazy spoiled rich kid.

Advice to producers: A couple man-on-man kissing scenes could help pull this one out of the crapper.
