RJ Danvers shut out of Ford Model search

Three finalists have been named in the VMan Magazine / Ford Models Search and they will be flown on to Los Angeles to be photographed by Hedi Slimane and Nicola Formichetti for VMAN. Hairy gay porn hunk RJ Danvers was not one of them, even though he was consistently in second place with online votes.

"What I have heard is that the contest was nothing more than a scam to get people talking about Ford Models," he wrote on his blog. "And to bring traffic to the VMAN, Diesel and CK websites.

"I, for one, feel totally taken advantage of. I, along with my fans who voted, really put my heart into this contest because I genuinely wanted to win. I knew somewhere in my heart of hearts that something like this would happen, but I had no idea that it would be this blatant... those guys look drugged out and emaciated."

Now, now R.J, there's something to be said for taking your loss with grace. After all, how much free publicity did you get out of this little venture? Yes, all of the finalists are pale, young and slender. But that's the definition of "fashion model," isn't it?
