Special German army unit created porn

The People's Army of former Communist East Germany wasn't all about keeping their country's socialist dream alive; they were also interested in creating home grown pornography for ranking army officials and visiting generals from other Warsaw Pact nations.

The films, including "Private Werner's Big Surprise" and the uber-patriotic "Fucking for the Fatherland", were shot using 160 officers in the army and were taped on location in the actual barracks. 

"They were made, essentially, in secret but nothing got done in that man's army without the approval of the brass," explained Dietmar Schuertze, 57, who worked on and appeared in some of the films. "They were made for their consumption anyway."

Homosexual videos were not par for the course, with local girls being used to round out the cast. Shame...

Clips from some of the films were shared on TV in Germany.

"I didn't recognise myself," said one soldier "Neither did my wife, thank God."

Now if only the Marines had their own porn video unit...
