Christian Owen's shoe fetish

Christian Owen really likes shoes. So much so he'd love for you to buy him a pair. And though he will never wear them, he'll be eternally grateful.

For the third year running, Christian is organizing  a Children’s Holiday Shoe Drive. As a kid he “treasured getting a new pair of shoes for Christmas,"  but he feels that, "today, most of the gifts for those in need are toys [...] often the newness and fun of toys fade quickly.” He is hoping to give something more practical, something that could be used each and every day. 

The donations will benefit the Hollywood Community Housing Corporation. Christian is accepting new pairs of kids' shoes, gift certificates to shoe retailers, or cash donations at Here Lounge in West Hollywood on December 9. That's a little far for most of us, but it sure is a good inspiration ...
