Matt Damon: sexiest man alive

Matt Damon has been voted People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive  for 2007. He beat out Patrick Dempsey, Ryan Reynolds and Brad Pitt for the top spot. And we couldn't be happier for him.

"You've given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime," Damon, now 37, told People. They chose him because of his "irresistible sense of humor" and "heart-melting humility." Oh, and the fact that he's so amazingly hot.

Now we can go on (and on) about all the buddy fantasies we've had about him and Ben Affleck playing Goodwillie Hunting, but let's take a moment to focus on the charitable work Matt has been doing of late. He has given his support to One X One, a non-profit foundation committed to supporting, preserving and improving the lives of children around the world. He produced a documentary, "H2O Africa," about the growing water crisis on that continent. And he worked with his "Ocean's Thirteen" co-stars to donate over $5 million to the war ravaged Darfur region in Sudan.

A man who takes the time to make the world a better place... now that is sexy. [more]
