Music stylings of the Gay Pimp

Jonny McGovern, a self professed "nightlife legend" from New York, has been gaining fans -- and critics -- with his satirical homo-influenced pop music. With songs like "Lookin’ Cute/Feelin’ Cute" and "Hey Lil' Raver Boi," he has earned a reputation as the older, dirtier, gay male version of Britney Spears, with a dash of Liberace thrown in for good measure.

Headlining across New York City, in clubs like Splash Bar NY and LUXX, and opening for such alt music favorites as Peaches and Chicks on Speed as the Gay Pimp, he still needed some help reaching a wider audience. The World Wide Web proved to be the perfect tool. His debut single, "Soccer Practice," was an Internet smash, landing "in the top five of the National Video Club chart and ... downloaded over 2.2 million times from GayPimp.com."

You may also have seen him in Logo's "The Big Gay Sketch Show" ... if you are one of the tens of hundreds of people who subscribe to the channel.

Hate the music? Turn down the volume and watch the hot guys dancing around in videos like this one...

We'd join the team... but only if we can hang out in the locker room all day!
