Boy band bombshell

It's official: *NSYNC's Lance Bass is as gay as a goose and dating "Amazing Race" reality stud  Reichen Lehmkuhl. But, as Jon Stewart so aptly queried on last night's "The Daily Show," could "People" magazine have possibly found a cover photo of Lance that made him look more gay? 

Turns out they could have if they'd done a little more research, since the New York Daily News dug up an even gayer photo of Lance posing with one SpongeBob Squarepants. Talk about guilt by association.

Jon, tongue in cheek, let his audience in on a little trick of the journalism trade. Just as newspapers write up obituaries for perfectly healthy famous people in order to be prepared when they die, so too, apparently do they keep a stock of  "gay photos" on file should any celebrity suddenly come out of the closet.

Not to be outdone by the straight press, Lavender Lounge suggested that Lance be cast to play the lead role in an upcoming Liberace biopic.



So there you have it folks. Singer Lance Bass, gay at 27.
