Porn queen for governor

Nevada has one very unique candidate for governor in Melody Damayo. Not only is she a woman of Asian descent -- she's a former porn star. And to top things off, she's running as a Republican!

Better known as Mimi Miyagi during a career as one of Asia's top porn models, Damayo  retired from porn in 2003 with her farewell flick "Happy Endings." She still works as an exotic dancer, but says she'll give that up if elected.

"I want everyone to know that I'm here to bring back the roots of the Republican Party: freedom, freedom of speech, freedom to party, free enterprise," Damayo said at a recent fundraiser, which featured karaoke and a limbo contest.
