Fired for being a porn star

Like anyone would be, Pete Ross was angry when he was fired from his job. But Ross' pink slip was far from typical. It came when his employer, a major U.S. airline, discovered that he also worked as a porn star. Now, months later, Ross is fighting back.

In an exclusive letter to Will Clark's Porn Star Confidential, and at his new website, PornRebel.org, Ross explains how a fellow employee ratted him out to management in December 2004. A flight attendant for an unnamed airline, Ross became the subject of an investigation by his employer, who hired private eyes to spy on him. Their surveillance exposed Ross' second job in the adult film industry, which led to his dismissal in June 2005.

"I never saw myself as martyr material before," Ross writes on his website, "but you know what? If making my story public can help the rest of the men and women in the porn industry, I'm ready to take a stand."

Ross hopes that he can contribute to the fight for privacy rights, and that his story will inspire others to join him.

"I'm not just fighting for my job, or just for porn industry," he continues, "but for every person who believes what they do in their own free time belongs to them. If it's legal, safe and sane, and if it doesn't infringe on the rights of others, whose business is YOUR business? If it can happen to me, what is to prevent your employer from playing Big Brother on you?"

While he's no longer flying the friendly skies, Ross is thankfully still riding friendly men! You can currently see him in Wet Palms 7, 8 and 9, as well as in Colt's recently released "Beyond Perfect" and in the director's cut for All Worlds' "Raw 2." Prepare for take off!
