Mark Dalton out on parole

After 383 days in prison, porn star Mark Dalton is home for the holidays. Sentenced last year for violating the terms of his probation on a 2002 drug conviction, Dalton was released from prison on parole Nov. 22, just in time to spend Thanksgiving with his family.

The 25-year-old Dalton, whose real name is Jeremy James Son,  returned home to Denton, Texas,  on his mother's birthday, grateful for his freedom.

"If I could have picked, I would have never gone through it," Dalton said of prison in an interview with the Dallas Voice. "But now, I'm glad I did go through it."

Dalton says support from his family and his fans helped him through his prison sentence, during which time he says that he walked away from several potentially violent confrontations with other inmates.

A professional bodybuilder, Dalton's biggest complaint concerning his life behind bars, however, is that he couldn't work out when he wanted to. Now that he's out of prison, he plans to get his body -- and his life -- back to normal. First on his list: exercise. Dalton says he is going to ditch the "party life" he once lived and hopes to restore his body to tip-top shape within a month. After that, he expects to return to his career as a model in bodybuilding magazines and as an actor in adult films, in which he so far has appeared only solo.

“I’m definitely going to get out there and try to splatter my face around on the magazines and in the videos,” Dalton told the Voice.
