Rapist suspect / former porn model kills self

Former gay porn actor Bradford Wagner,  suspected in a series of rapes, hanged himself Wednesday in the Boulder County Jail. Wagner had been held in custody ever since he was charged with the rapes of four women in the Boulder region last year.

Wagner was working as a real estate agent at the time, but had a previous career as a gay porn actor under the name Tim Barnett. Between 1991 and 1995 Barnett appeared in 30 gay porn films.

A spokesman for the Boulder County police stated that Wagner had shown no signs of suicidal behavior.
