We recently had the opportunity to ask the amazingly hot JR Bronson a few questions. He's a very talented bottom onscreen, and seems like a genuinely nice guy off screen.

 

BananaGuide: How long have you been in the adult industry?

JR Bronson: As long as I can remember I have wanted to do porn. I felt I was a natural for the industry even in my teen years. I've been in the industry for almost two years now. It has been an amazing time in my life getting to meet so many fun, sexy and talented people. I've learned so much about myself personally and professionally and am so grateful for the positive experiences I have had so far.

 

You have worked with some major studios. Why do you think that is and how did you avoid questionable studios?

I was very lucky to have met a few people in the beginning who had the right connections to get me in with the big companies. My first was Hot House. Christian Owens who is an amazing detailed director taught me so much in the beginning.

 

Working with Steve Cruise of Falcon Studios was great because the process was very natural and real. His ability to pair up the best compatible scene partners was on point which gave me a real pleasurable experience despite it being a job.

 

My most recent shoot was with Chi Chi LaRue who not only is a virtual historical keeper of porn, but is by far one of the most talented directors who runs a very controlled yet comfortable set. She kept things energetic and fun always aware of the actors' needs and performance.

 

 

Who has been your favorite performer to work with ... and what made him so good?

I would have to say Topher Dimaggio. We have such an amazing connection on and off camera. The shoot we did together was effortless because the director with Titan Media didn't have a lot of input, but set it up more freestyle and the in the end was beyond pleased with our performance.

 

How have friends and family reacted to your work as a porn star?

The people in my life are very supportive of my personal and professional choices. My friends are a very diverse group. I love my time with the industry people both on set and at various media gatherings, but my friends keep me grounded, centered and on a positive path.

 

 

There was a recent post on social media of you wearing a "Condom Queen" tank top. What was that about?

Well, it's pretty simple. I am HIV neg and plan to stay that way. When I have sex whether it is personal or professional condoms are always used. I understand barebacking is big in certain parts of the industry right now and I do not judge people for their choices, but for me I have to watch out for my health and do what I can to protect that.

 

We have seen you both smooth and hairy in videos. What do you and your fans prefer?

I love the look of both, but I have to say being hairy requires a lot less maintenance and the fans seem to have responded very positively to the new hairy look.

 

 

Outside of a porn scene, where is the most unusual place you've had sex?

On the 4th of July. Fireworks were going off overhead while I was getting my brains fucked out by the most amazing man in the middle of the Central Park lake. I still can't believe we didn't get caught. It was so thrilling, scary and romantic at the same time.

 

Is there anything that fans would be surprised to know about you?

Because of my earlier work with Hot House people assume I am more of a kink performer and that is further from who I really am. I don't own any leather and I've never been fisted. I am pretty vanilla in real life and prefer a more passionate lover then someone interested in a lot play without a real connection.

 

What's next for JR Bronson?

I have worked out a deal with COLT Studio Group to be the face of their new underwear line The Colt Collection. I plan on touring the country next year promoting myself and the brand.
