Porn actor linked to anti-Muslim video

There seems to be a gay porn connection to the recent trouble in the Middle East, surrounding a video that was posted on YouTube.

The fourteen-minute trailer, for a movie called Innocence Of Muslims, depicts Muhammad as a womanizing killer. It also calls into question his sexuality. And though the movie was posted online months ago, this week it was used to incite protests and riots in Egypt, Yemen and Libya. Four people, including the US ambassador to Libya, lost their lives after the US consulate was attacked by militants.

The Muslim Times wrote Wednesday that the video, which ridicules the prophet and describes Islam as a "cancer," amounted to a propaganda film "designed to enrage and incite violence."

The cast of the low-budget film are now saying they had no idea what the project was really about. “It was going to be a film based on how things were 2,000 years ago,” Cindy Lee Garcia said. “It wasn’t based on anything to do with religion ... There wasn’t anything about Muhammad or Muslims or anything.”

Tim Dax, who has appeared in such adult videos as 2008's Folsom Undercover, also appeared in the video.

He wrote to Joe.My.God to explain his role in the video. He said: "I can tell you I auditioned for a movie called Desert Storm that was about ancient warriors. My character was called Sampson on the paper with a few lines I got each day upon arriving on set. We never saw a full script or any lines after the day we shot them. Many questions were asked regarding absurdity of lines and situations. Sam the producer - who I believed to be, but not certain, was Egyptian - his reply would always [be] to work with what we were given as he wrote the script. The clip that I saw part of today for the first time is questionable as to being my voice. The voice over work is dubious at best. ... Can't tell you any more than that other than I'm am very much NOT anti muslim. One world one love."
