A
new study suggests that you may have been
born a bottom or a top.
Scientists at the University of Toronto examined the variations within a group of gay men based on their anal-sex roles. The researchers said they found evidence that a person's genes may have a direct impact on their preferred sexual position.
Part of the findings: bottoms are more likely to be feminine or gender non-conforming at a young age, and they are often left-handed. And if you have older brothers, you are also more likely than not to be a bottom.
“What’s interesting about this work is even among a group of individuals who are pretty similar in terms of their sexual preference -- that is, gay men preferring men -- there could be a diverse set of processes that lead them to exhibit that same sexual orientation outcome,” explained Doug P. VanderLaan, an assistant professor in the University of Toronto Mississauga’s Department of Psychology.
Guess it's time for Lady Gaga to update "Born This Way" to include these new findings!
