Brent Corrigan -- whose initial fame as a teen bareback star for Cobra Studios back in the mid-2000’s was later eclipsed by the publicity surrounding the vicious murder of Cobra head Brian Kocis -- has never wandered far from the spotlight.
Brent appeared on Davey Wavey’s “The Business of Sex” web series recently, to share his thoughts on the gay porn biz and about James Franco’s movie based on the Kocis murder, King Cobra.
Brent says he was offered a role in King Cobra, but “I didn’t want to be a part of that film if they weren’t going to tell my story. I read the script – and it wasn’t my story.”
You many recall that Brent was a Cobra exclusive and that two rival producers Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes murdered Brian Kocis in 2007. Their plan was to 1) get away with murder and 2) snap up Brent and make him the star of their own studio.
Brent does plan to tell his version of events in a forthcoming book which he says will divulge new details about his relationship with Kocis. For example, he says Kocis was aware that Brent was only 17 before filming him.
"I am being brave and I’m self-publishing my book. I’m aiming for an October 31st release date, on my 30th birthday,” he told Davey.
As for porn, Brent hasn’t filmed for a couple of years and says he's on hiaitus because “I got to a point where porn wasn’t giving me what I thought it would ... I stepped back and thought – what will make me happy? ... For me, my passion was always horses.”
Horse jumping is his sport, but shortly after the Davey Wavey interview, Brent bought a racehorse, a gray named Black Canyon.
And if you’re sad you’ll never see Brent in another porn video, don’t be, because he says he has not retired.
