"Gaycation" special to look at aftermath of the Orlando shooting

Earlier this year, VICELAND -- a brand new cable channel, and an extension of VICE magazine -- launched the series Gaycation, in which hosts Ellen Page and Ian Daniel travel to various cities around the world and examine what life is like for members of the LGBT community living there.

A second season of the series will launch in September, but before then the show will visit Orlando to examine the aftermath of the June 12 massacre at the city's Pulse nightclub. Page and Daniel spoke with survivors and the families of victims for the special episode.

Gaycation Presents: Orlando includes one survivor’s story of escaping the night club and another’s day of burying a pair of friends. The special is not only about the loss of so many lives, but also offers a look at the powerful outpouring of love and support that followed.

The show will air on August 24 at 10PM.
