Actor Garrett Clayton has apparently accepted a very interesting part: that of porn star Brent Corrigan. He will take on the role in King Cobra, about the real life murder of gay adult film producer Bryan Kocis. It is being produced by James Franco.

 

This is quite the departure for the 22-year-old, who is best known for teen-friendly comedies like Teen Beach and Teen Beach 2. He has also appeared on ABC Family’s The Fosters. 

 

 

Harlow Cuadra and his lover Joseph Kerekes were convicted of the gruesome murder of twink bareback producer Kocis. The two were guilty of stabbing Kocis 28 times and then beheading him, before setting fire to his rural Pennsylvania home. The reason for the killing: the two wanted to snatch Kerekes' star model, Brent Corrigan, to use in their own productions. Both men have been in Pennsylvania prisons since 2009. 

 

Cuadra has tried, and failed, to receive a retrial.

 

According to Hollywood insiders, Christian Slater will play Kocis. Molly Ringwald will apparently star as Kocis' sister.

 

It will be interesting to find out how much of Clayton we'll actually get to see in his role as a porn star (if you know what we mean)!
