A Florida man has been sentenced to over two years in prison after being found guilty of having sex on a state beach.
Jose Caballero, 40, and Elissa Alvarez, 21, decided it would be a good idea to go all the way on Bradenton Beach ... and they did it in the middle of the day.
Caballero was arrested at the scene of the crime last July following complaints from beachgoers.
“His judgment was pretty poor,” assistant state attorney Anthony Dafonseca said. “If you think about 2:30 in the afternoon on a crowded beach. It takes a certain type of person to do that in front of children a few feet away.”
During his court case, Caballero denied the accusations; he claimed witnesses were mistaken about they saw. The jury took 15 minutes to find him guilty.
The good news: he's already familiar with life on the inside. He previously served almost eight years in prison for cocaine trafficking.
Both he and his sex buddy must now register as sex offenders. She was also sentenced to time served.
