SeanCody.com sold

In a world in which XXX sales are suffering because of consumer piracy and intense competition, it isn't all that surprising when a large  porn conglomerate gobbles up an independent porn site.

However, it was truly shocking to read over at Str8 Up Gay Porn that one of the biggest names in gay porn, Sean Cody, has allegedly been bought up by MindGeek (the people behind Men.com).

There are some big differences between Sean Cody productions and those of Men.com. One of them is that Sean Cody doesn't use condoms.

According to Str8 Up, sources have said that Sean Cody will continue to be a bareback studio. Does this mean Men.com is willing to explore the world of raw sex, opening the door for condomless scenes in its own productions? Or will Sean Cody shoots and Men.com videos remain completely separate, continuing with their current production formula? Will the sites start sharing models? So many questions!

MindGeek's major rival, Buddy Profits, has also been purchasing smaller companies. In 2013, the company acquired Pride Studios. And in 2014 it took over Dink Flamingo's Active Duty.

Who will be the next big name to be bought out? (Our bet is Cocky Boys).
