The Leftovers is a new HBO series that deals with the aftermath of the mysterious and instant disappearance of 2% of Earth's population. It follows a group of people left behind in the American suburb of Mapleton as they try to make some meaning of the loss and rebuild their lives. There's lot of anger, confusion and, of course, a cult. 

 

On the lighter side, there are hot men and lots of skin! Justin Theroux (top) plays Kevin Garvey, the local angst-ridden police chief. His son, Tom, is played by cutie Chris Zylka.  Funny thing is both the characters look pretty close to their real ages (Theroux is 42 and Zylka is 29), which would mean that Kevin Garvey became a dad at age 13! 

 

Well, if you can suspend your belief for a Rapture-like mass disappearance, then it shouldn't be too hard to accept the close ages of father and son. And there are enough semi-nude flashes in "The Leftovers" to entertain you for a while even if the premise doesn't appeal.
