Putin critic gets the shaft, literally

Imagine waking up one morning to go to work and finding this waiting for you. It's what happened to Katya Romanovskaya last Monday. She left her Moscow apartment and discovered a giant wooden cock chained to her car.

The piece was well made, she said, complete with veins carefully carved into the shaft.

Romanovskaya said it was a message against the strong anti-Putin views she expresses on her blog. "Finally," she wrote, "the day has come when my work has been noticed and appreciated."

Talk about getting wood!

A local man has offered to buy the penis for his collection. (Now that's a collection we'd like to see!)
