Dorian Graham, 19, has been arrested and charged with sexual battery and extortion, after allegedly using some Snapchat pics to blackmail a fellow university student.
Ohio University Police said that Graham pretended to be a female in order to convince another male student to send him nude selfies through Snapchat, a smart phone app that allows users to view photos for a limited period.
According to police, Graham then uploaded the pics onto social photo sharing site Instagram. Graham, still posing as a female, promised to remove the pictures if the male student agreed to have sex with another male (which was Graham).
"I’m going to tell everybody about this," Graham allegedly threatened. "I’m going to let everyone see this."
The victim agreed, thinking he was meeting another student who was also being blackmailed. The two met at Adams Hall at Ohio University's Athens campus where some form of sexual contact took place.
After the incident, Graham demanded another meeting.
"You can do it again, the right way so it’s not so dark and sketchy and stuff," Graham reportedly messaged. "And if you do it the way we asked then we will both delete what we have."
The victim then contacted Ohio University Police.
