Porn model John Snavely, known in gay porn as Josh(ua) Logan and straight porn as (Johnny) Champ, has been charged with the 2010 Pompano Beach, FL stabbing death of Sam Del Brocco.

 

The victim led two lives, one as a happily married and successful business man, the other as a regular at gay strip clubs when living at his vacation condo in Pompano Beach. Just hours before he was murdered on September 11, 2010, Del Brocco stopped in at the Boardwalk strip club in Fort Lauderdale,  where Snavely sometimes danced.  

 

Though Broward Sheriff investigators found DNA evidence at the murder scene - Del Brocco's condo -  it was not until Snavely had a subsequent run in with the law over a minor matter that his DNA sample was taken and found to match. 

 

He started his porn career as Jet Set's Josh Logan,  appearing in a half dozen 2010 releases. Snavely then  moved to straight porn with Bang Bus in Miami, stripping on the side. He is known to have been a heavy abuser of drugs and of women.  

 

Snavely, 26, was also known to give escort customers less than they bargained for. He would offer a "private dance" to customers,  leading them to believe they'd get much more. After arriving at the customer's home, he'd demand $500 up-front, do a striptease, and leave. 

 

The accused is currently being held in jail in St. Lucie County for violating his probation. In addition, he’s been charged with the second degree murder of Del Brocco.
