As the name implies, Stocky Dudes caters to lovers of big men in hardcore action. The founder and sometimes model, Brandon Ramm, tilts the inventory a little more at the otter and cub niche, but with a heaping helping of more traditional bears. The site is completely optimized for viewing on desktop, tablet and smartphone, and all of the videos are available in 720p HD. The membership model is a departure from the usual, with the basic subscription for streaming access only. If you want to download, you pay for each video separately. Updates are just once monthly, so otter, cub, and bear lovers will have to patient in order to get their fix. Stocky Dudes is a well-designed offering within the bear niche.

The Stocky Dudes tour is a complete mirror of the sites video and model indexes with free clips for every video on the site, so it's very clear what's in store. It explains the novel pricing structure, which is that the membership is streaming only OR you can buy individual scenes (which are cheaper if you are already a member).

Usability

The sharply designed Stocky Dudes isn't a big site, so it would be pretty easy to get around round even without search and sort features, but Brandon has added a slew of them. There's a drop-down menus for category searches. You can sort by published date, title or popularity. There's a general search box and each scene has category tags. You can also add a scene to your list of favorites and comment on scenes. While the membership provides only streaming access, you can choose to download scenes with credits and a record of all your purchased scenes is kept in the "My Account" section.

The Men and the Action

True to the site name, the men tend to be bigger than average with all the body hair nature gave them - though many are younger than those you find on other bear sites. These amateurs also seem to genuinely enjoy the sex. The vast majority of the scenes are hardcore and all the usual sex is here, larger than life, with nipple play, cock-sucking, enthusiastic fucking, and some bareback. While there are text descriptions of the scenes the videos tend to start with sex and lack interviews so you don't get much of a feel for who these guys are.

Video Details

The quality of the videos is very good, with ample clarity and a variety of medium and close-up shots. Sometimes the single hand-held camera has a little too much jiggle, and a second camera, even a fixed one, would be a good idea.

At this first review update there are 72 scenes on the site, which confirms a frequency of just one new video per month. As mentioned, the general membership is streaming only: you'll have to pay a few bucks for a scene if you want to keep it on your hard drive.

Summing Up

Stocky Dudes is easily the best choice for fans of otters, cubs and full sized bears in duo and group hardcore action. It has all the bells and whistles of a larger site, and the video quality is very good. A real limitation is that the membership is for streaming access only, despite the reduced member price for purchase of video downloads.
