Anonymous takes on 'revenge porn' site owner

Hunter MooreHunter Moore (pictured), the braggart who created the much maligned site IsAnyoneUp.com, has been told to watch his back. Hacktivist group Anonymous has warned Moore to refrain from starting the site up again or Anonymous will bring him down.

IsAnyoneUp was created as a site for jilted lovers to expose the naked pics of their exes. The site included sexual images of men and women, gay and straight. Moore not only posted the images, often taken in private, personal moments and not meant for public consumption, but also added full names and links to the persons Facebook page.

He then mocked those who begged him to take the images down.

Because of growing controversy over the site, and some criminal investigation into his activity, he sold the site in April. It became an online anti-bullying portal.

He is now claiming that he is planning a major comeback. He even claimed he would go one better than his former site and include physical addresses of the people in the pictures. He later recanted, saying he was drunk and high when he made those claims. Instead, only the addresses of people who personally “wronged” him would be shared (whatever that means).

Well, Anonymous is telling Moore it will hold him accountable should anything negative happen because of his new site.

“We will protect anyone who is victimized by abuse of our internet, we will prevent the stalking, rape, and possible murders as by-product of his sites," it declared. “Operation Anti-Bully. Operation Hunt Hunter engaged. We are Anonymous, we are legion, we do not forgive, we do not forget. Hunter Moore, expect us.”

To prove it was serious, the group posted details about Mr Moore, including the names of family members and his home address, and created this video:
