The New Yorker gets too saucy for Facebook

New Yorker cartoon censored by Facebook.

Yes, even The New Yorker can run afoul of the censors over at Facebook. On Monday, the magazine posted a cartoon of a naked Adam and Eve, and it didn't take long before the page was pulled down. Apparently the image violated Facebook's "Nudity and Sex" community standards.

The problem seemed to be with the depiction of female nipples. Male nipples are okay.

Luckily, the Facebook page was later restored. The comic, however, was not.
