Mika: Yep, I'm gay!

As with many stars, rumors about British pop star Mika's sexuality have been circulating for years.

Initially he refused to confirm or deny said rumors. Then in 2009 he came out as bisexual. 

"I’ve never limited my life, I’ve never limited who I sleep with," he told Dutch magazine Gay And Night at the time. "Call me whatever you want. Call me bisexual, if you need a term for me."

Well, now he's setting the record straight (so to speak) and admitting that he is, in fact, gay. He made the announcement in an interview with Instinct Magazine, which will come out in September.

He said: "If you ask me am I gay, I say yeah. Are these songs about my relationship with a man? I say yeah. And it’s only through my music that I’ve found the strength to come to terms with my sexuality beyond the context of just my lyrics. This is my real life."

Mika is currently promoting his third album The Origin of Love, to be released this fall. Until then here's his previous hit, "Relax, Take it Easy."
