Abusive reality collides with porn fantasy

The most heart-wrenching gay porn story of the summer has been the public conflict between ex-lovers and porn co-stars, Spencer Reed and Phillip Aubrey.

In July Reed accused Aubrey of stabbing him in the arm. Aubrey was charged with assault and possession of a deadly weapon.

Then on Sept. 7, in an extensive interview with J.P. Barnaby of Queer Magazine Online, Aubrey told his side of the story, in which Reed subjected him to two years of cruelty, insults, anger, and physical abuse. He recalls being dominated and controlled by Reed, and recounts how he tried to learn to enjoy BDSM in order to please his ex.

The next day, Next Door Buddies released a Reed-Aubrey video that had been filmed months before. Entitled "I Wanna Be Your Dog," it portrays Aubrey as submissive, blindfolded and chained, and Reed as the master dog owner, who "fucks him across a table and cums in his mouth."
