Canada's FedEx won't ship porn

FedEx in Canada will not ship pornFedEx Canada will not ship weapons, drugs, cigarettes, insects ... or porn.

A company spokesperson said, “[Porn is] on the list of prohibited items.'

Todd Klinck, co-owner of pansexual club Goodhandy’s in Toronto ran into trouble while sending some DVDs to porn star Pierre Fitch.

“I have sent porn in Canada and internationally using FedEx many, many, many times. I’ve also used Canada Post and many other methods without any problems,” Klinck said.

While he was getting help with his package, the clerk saw porn DVDs in Klinck's bag. The store manager was called, and he refused to send the parcel.

“I told him they’re adult films. I’m not going to pull them all out in the store. I was just being practical. There could be kids around... At that point he got really awkward," Klinck said. “They said they wouldn’t ship it. They were nice about it, but said they couldn’t ship it.”

Klinck was also advised that FedEx had a new policy requiring all packages be opened before they can be accepted for shipment, unless they are being sent by a FedEx account holder.

Klinck packaged the DVDs himself and used the FedEx drop box in front of the store. The parcel was shipped without incident.
