Every time we turn around someone who once made us hard now wants to impress us with a talent that doesn't even involve being naked. What's that all about?
Of course, we're just being selfish, especially in the case of one Mitch Branson. He looks so good without pants! Anyway, the hot and hairy COLT model is now pursuing his musical dreams. His debut album, 'Darkness of Pleasure,' has just been released.
Branson has been producing music for almost 10 years. It was a hobby at first, but three years ago he returned to school to study digital audio. He's now ready to put his studies to the test in the real world.
May we suggest going naked in his music videos? That way everyone wins!

BananaGuide: Now, you first made a name for yourself in porn. How did you get started in the industry?
Mitch Branson: I was looking for brand new opportunities, as I was a bit too alternative for the main stream modeling world, and porn was a great opportunity to get myself out there and connect with the gay community.
What has been the best thing about working in porn?
Best would be the networking and connections I have made over the past few years, they are so valuable to me.
And the worst?
Worst would be the judgments by people that come along with what I do, as a dumb, talentless person which I am not. I'm trying to show that there is more to me that just the one thing.
Any embarrassing moments?
During my latest shoot, I ended up slipping on the lube that fell on the hard wood floor while the camera was rolling. That footage will never be seen by the light of day I hope.

Now you're moving into a new medium: music. You are about to release your debut album 'Darkness of Pleasure.' How would you describe it?
It is something I have worked so hard on, and am thrilled to get it out there. The album is dark and sensual, and takes genre elements from all sorts of different music. I honestly think it has something for everyone. Rock lovers, pop lovers, dance lovers, even bits of jazz and R&B influences.
What do you hope people get out of it?
My hope is that the music I have made on this album will make the people listening to it sing, and dance, and have fun, but also experience a new side of me: my darker side. Therefore the final product ended up being a mixed bag of topics.
The first single, 'Control Me,' is about S&M. What intrigued you about the subject? Is it based on personal experience?
Not on personal experience, it is more about a friend of mine, who was showing me an online game called Second Life, and in the game the theme of S&M was so prominent that I became intrigued with it and 'Control Me' was born.
How do you think doing porn has affected your music?
Well it has helped me find my audience, and so the sensuality of porn has been retained in the music. I did also want to do a few other topics besides sexuality, and did, but of course I wouldn't abandon the needs of my fans. I feel it's all about testing new waters.
Does this mean we'll lose you and your hot body to music or are you planning to pursue both porn and music in your future?
I can't say. That is something you'll have to wait and find out. I have done a lot and gained a lot in the past few years from working in the industry, and do have a desire to branch out and try new things, but as of now I am content, so stay tuned!
