If you're into kinky fashion and skin tight spandex, then David Mason has something just for you. His clothing line, Slick It Up, may not be suitable for the family reunion but it is guaranteed to turn heads (and turn on quite a few people in the process)!
From full body suits, to hoods, to candy pink thongs, there is a lot to choose from. And even if you don't plan to buy, you should check out the website for some hot shots of porn stars sampling the product. You'll even find Mason decked out in some of his own gear.
We spoke with Mr. Mason (and even tried to convince this designer-slash-hunk to consider porn as a second career). See what he has to say, and check out some hot pics, after the jump ...
BananaGuide: You've created a very sexy line called Slick It Up. Why did you start it? What inspires your work?
David Mason: As a kid it was the the bad asses on tv clad in spandex that caught my eye. Anyone from the women in Billy Idol's 'White Wedding' video to the wrestlers from the WWF. They were a strong part of my formative sexual experience as a kid.
What did you do before you started Slick It Up?
I was a couture milliner for runway shows and pop stars. My clients were Moschino, Cavalli, Britney, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguillera ... but you get bored of sticking stuff on girls heads, the thrill was gone.
Now, you've modeled your outfits and look damn hot doing it. Any chance we'll see you cross over to modeling?
No, I'd like to but I'm honestly not an exhibitionist. I like modeling for my stuff because it's fun and I can do exactly what I want but I'm too much of a control freak to do it for someone else.
Adult video work?
I'm also just not really interested in doing porn, it doesn't excite me so much. I don't even watch porn. <editor's note: gasp!> I'm more turned on by people when they have trashy clothes on, not when they're naked.
Many of your models are porn stars. Why did you choose to work with men from this particular biz?
Because they're the perfect combination of sexy and beautiful. A standard model is pretty but pretty does nothing for me, I need models with sex appeal. A fashion model isn't sexy and you need muscle to show off spandex, just a pretty face isn't enough for spandex.
Is there anyone (anyone at all) you would love to see in one of your outfits?
I think Antoine Valliant would be may latest choice!
What can we expect from Slick It Up and David Mason in the future?
We have a lot of new gear and especially an all new exclusive spandex material which we've never introduced before, which I really think will be something special and it will make a lot of people very happy.
