The new(ish) kid on the block

Robert Van Damme wants to be known as more than just another pretty cock, so he launched a new studio to produce his own dirty videos. And with the help of experienced producer Gino Colbert, RVD Productions is ready to make a name for itself.

Colbert was even willing to come out of semi-retirement to help Van Damme realize his dream, working on the studio's very first release, 'Private Party: The Mystery Begins.' Two more videos will be released in the coming months.

"The movies have stories, production values and filthy sex, all beautifully shot," Colbert told GayVN. "In this difficult market, either you give them something above and beyond, or you suffer the consequences. We're going top-notch all the way."

BananaGuide caught up with Van Damme to ask how his videos will differ from the competition ...

"I was doing movies for a lot of the big production companies," Van Damme admitted. "Nobody had ever asked me what I like to do during sex, no one asked me what kind of scene partner I wanted to be with.  I never even knew who my scene partner would be until I got to the set.  How can there be good chemistry between us if I don’t know what he likes to do?  For example, I like to kiss, it’s a big turn-on for me.  What if my scene partner doesn’t kiss and I don’t get turned on?

"So I decided to use a different direction for my productions.  I do all of the casting for my movies through FabScout Entertainment, and we spend a great deal of time going over our options for scene partners, and I make it a point to ask the guys what they like and don’t like to do, that way there is better chemistry in front of the camera."

Anything else?

"The second major difference in my movies is the style and taste for what I like.  I love the guys to be free to grunt, moan, and talk dirty.  I like them to be kinky and give them freedom on the direction they take it.  I’m basically there with a camera filming two guys having hot sex, and not telling them what I think they should do. 

"During my career, there were only two directors who actually asked me about my scene partners and what I wanted to do in front of the camera, and these were Blue Blake and Gino Colbert, and I had the most fun filming with them."

And fans are in for a few surprises, including Van Damme's first bottoming scene.

"I’m pretty sure my big fans have been waiting for this movie for all seven years of my career," he told us. "It will be on the market in a few months.  The movies are “Private Party: The Mystery Begins”, “Private Party: The Mystery Continues” and “Private Party: The Mystery Bottoms."
