mtvU is an interesting offshoot of the MTV Network. It is both a Peabody and Emmy Award-winning 24-hour site network that holds true to the MTV music format aimed at a young audience. But it also addresses other issues of interest to the college set, from eating disorders to homosexuality.
One of mtvU's latest initiatives is a website called posornot.com, which challenges surfers to determine whether or not someone is HIV+, based on very little information and a picture, .
"Think you can tell if we have HIV?" they ask. "Some of us are HIV positive and some are negative. All of us want to challenge your assumptions about HIV."
It's not as easy as you may think.
