Chi Chi takes on the World

Monday morning a gay porn giant was born. Its parents? The legendary Chi Chi LaRue and Rick Ford, who announced the acquisition of Ford's All Worlds Video by LaRue's Channel 1 Releasing. Together, the two make up the world's largest gay owned and operated adult entertainment company, according to GAYVN News.

Ford founded All Worlds Video 21 years ago with Dirk Yates, who is famous for his amateur series of military men. LaRue, meanwhile, founded Channel 1 Releasing, which includes Rascal Video, just eight years ago.

"When Chi Chi started with Channel 1, I saw how people thought it would be just a flash in the pan, but the company has grown into one of the major players in the industry," Ford said in a press release. "I am excited by the ideas they have, their skills in the ever changing technology of media delivery and their enthusiasm in continuing the work of so many creative people that have passed through our doors.”

All Worlds Video is behind such steamy releases as "The Seven Deadly Sins" series, "Kiss-Off" and, more recently, "There Goes the Neighborhood" and "Desperate Husbands". It has discovered such stars as Rick Donovan, Eric Manchester, Axel Garret, Dean Phoenix and Barrett Long.

Channel 1 has an equally impressive resume, sporting titles such as "Bolt," "The Back Row" and "Wrong Side of the Tracks," and stars like Joey Stefano, Alex Stone, Johnny Hazzard and Zak Spears.

     

LaRue and Ford have crossed paths before, as LaRue directed All Worlds releases "Conquered," "How the West Was Hung" and "My Sister’s Husband" in the early 1990s.

“It’s like things have come full circle for me,” LaRue said. “All Worlds was really one of the first major studios I worked for.”

LaRue and Ford, together again at last. It's a sure recipe for success, and we can't wait to taste it!
