LaRue vs. Lucas at GayVNs

Hot on the heels of the Oscars, the GayVN Awards were held last night at Rage Nightclub in West Hollywood where the gay porn glitterati turned out in numbers to witness Michael Lucas' "Dangerous Liaisons" and Chi Chi LaRue's "Wrong Side of the Tracks" tie for Best Picture of the Year.

"Wrong Side" also won trophies in six other categories including Best Director, Editing, and Videography. "Wrong Side" principal Johnny Hazzard took three wins for Best Actor, Sex Scene (with Tyler Riggz), and Solo Performance.

"Dangerous Liaisons" won in three additional categories: Best DVD Extras, Screenplay, and Supporting Actor.

During the ceremonies, which Chi Chi hosted, she and Lucas traded some nasty barbs, but they kissed and made up later (well, maybe they didn't actually kiss).

Performer of the Year went to Gus Mattox; while Roman Heart was named Best Newcomer. Actor/models Jake Andrews, Michael Brandon and Randy Cochran, and director/videographer Brian Mills were inducted into the GayVN Hall of Fame.
