Less than a week ago, Broadway Bares took to the stage with a sexy mix of music and bare bottoms. This year's show, which offered an interesting twist on theme parks, raised an impressive $1,887,014, with proceeds going to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Broadway Bares: Pleasure Park included nearly 200 dancers representing 14 Broadway shows including Aladdin, Bad Cinderella, A Beautiful Noise, The Neil Diamond Musical, and Funny Girl.
The show started with a "grind opening" in which Jay Armstrong Johnson and Jonathan Burke were welcomed to the “world of glitter” and “world of pecs” by a powerhouse vocal performance by Jessica Vosk who urged the audience to "get ready for the ride of your life."
