People are still talking about "that" TV rimming scene

Even though HBO’s The White Lotus came out last year, it has left its mark on viewers. The series, about a week in the life of vacationers as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise, is filled with several sexy moments.

One of our favorite scenes involved Murray Bartlett and Lukas Gage and some tongue-in-ass action. Andy Cohen was equally impressed, recently talking up the scene on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. With Lukas as a guest, Andy asked how the scene came about.

“It was my idea, yeah,” Lukas revealed. “I thought we should normalize rimming. I think that ass eating needs to be talked about more and in the script, it was sex and we’ve seen sex.”

Lukas also explained that his ass is “naturally a little smoother” than most, requiring no additional prep for the camera.

Back in August, Lukas also talked about the controversial moment, saying it was initially supposed to be about full-on penetrative sex. He and his co-star didn't feel it had the right impact.

“We said, ‘Wouldn’t it be more interesting if [Dillon’s] getting his salad tossed? I mean, how often do we see that on TV?’ I think it’s much more interesting and more jarring to walk in on.”
