Bimini Bon Boulash takes no prisoners in new single

As with Drag Race in the US, the UK-based spin off is proving to be a great launching pad for contestants. Bimini Bon Boulash, for example, has just released her debut single, “God Save This Queen."

Bimini said the single felt ”therapeutic. It’s putting my fingers back up to the people that made me feel like shit.”

In the video, directed by Kassandra Powell, Bimini dances in drag surrounded by construction workers, straddles a motorbike naked from the waist down, and shows off one of their coveted Drag Race runway looks.

“I’m very proud of who I am now and where I’m at, and I wanted it to be for young queer kids to hear and think that those experiences they’ve been through, they can laugh and put their fingers up at those people. Jokes on them because we’re all great and they’re the ones with the issue. They’re the ones who need to sort it out.”
